Artwork
Camera-ready artwork is to be supplied by the customer. This is quality artwork usually a solid black image on a clean white, or transparency (right read, emulsion side down). Print artwork out on a laser printer two to four times the original size and at the highest possible resolution. This ensures that the image quality will be at it’s best once it is reduced to actual size, any defects in image edge quality will be minimized. Ink jet printers may also work well if the best possible resolution is used on high quality medium. Business cards, facsimiles, and photocopies are not recommended as artwork. Although if no other artwork is available we can scan the image into our computer and redraw it at an additional charge of $65.00 per hour ($65.00 minimum). Computer media file extensions such as .cdr, .eps. epsf, .al, .jpg, .pcd, and many others can be used but may require additional charges of $65.00 per hour if any discrepancies occur due to incompatibilities between your system and ours. Customer must supply a layout showing the location and orientation desired, in the event layout is not received with the artwork, we will generate one and fax it to you for your approval prior to plate etching.
